3D Dietetics is a team of three Accredited Practicing Dietitians (APD), Claire Nixon, Alice Jay and Emma Putrus, who have over 28 years of combined clinical experience. They provide evidence based, patient centred dietetic care and education with the ultimate goal of making a positive contribution to a patient’s heath and well being.
3D has extensive experience in providing individualised nutritional assessment and management to a broad range of patients. They specialise in patient’s with gastrointestinal diseases with a particular interest in Bariatrics, Colorectal Cancer and Surgery. 3D pride themselves on providing a comprehensive service to improve a patient’s surgical or treatment journey. This includes nutritional pre-habilitation, nutritional support during an inpatient stay and optimising patient recovery post-operatively and beyond. |
3D completed their Bachelor or Masters degrees in Nutrition and Dietetic at Flinders University and are active members of the SA Gastrointestinal Dietitians Group and the Dietitians Association of Australia. They all hold Clinical Dietetic positions at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (where they met) and currently also work privately at St Andrews Hospital. 3D has a close working relationship with Colorectal SA, having worked collaboratively at both the Royal Adelaide and St Andrew’s Hospitals.
